TRansparency in our advertising efforts
Under Article 25 (2) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1083, the European Media Freedom Act (EMFA) requires public bodies to ensure transparency regarding government advertising activities.
On this page, we therefore publish an annual overview of our government advertising expenditures.

Contracts awarded by WERK1.Bayern GmbH pursuant to Art. 25(1) EMFA are governed by the General Rules of Procedure for the Authorities of the Free State of Bavaria (AGO), the requirements of the Bavarian Budget Code (BayHO), and the Administrative Regulations to the Bavarian Budget Code (VV-BayHO), as amended from time to time.
Accordingly, the decisive factors are, in particular, the suitability of the media service provider or the provider of the online platform to reach the desired regional and/or thematic target group, the principles of economic efficiency and economy, as well as the other award criteria to be observed under public procurement law.
