In our network of over 40 active startups and numerous alumni, we bring together concentrated knowledge from a wide range of fields. Whether it’s EdTech, Health, IoT & Robotics, Mobility, or AI – we unite the technologies of tomorrow. We are especially proud of the close collaboration between our teams and with us. This is what makes WERK1 a true community, almost like a family.

Freelancer in the Coworking
Across our two Coworking Spaces, you’ll find a diverse array of individuals. Alongside the workaholics who spend all day working away in the silent space, there are the communicative ones who enjoy chatting and having lunch together. Somewhere in this spectrum are our Freelancer. These increasingly common individuals work in various fields. In addition to development, they often offer services in design, communication, photography, and back office tasks.

At WERK1, it’s not just startups and coworkers that call us home. We are also the base for programs such as the InsurTech Hub Munich – building a safer future together. Additionally, we are an Impact Partner of STARTUP TEENS which introduces entrepreneurship and coding to students.
We like to Party
AFTERWERK, WERKSFRÜHSTÜCK, WERKSACADEMY, Founder Poker, Table Tennis Tournament, and more. We love celebrating together. With our wide range of events, there’s never a dull moment in our community.
By the way, our parties are so legendary that tickets sometimes get traded on the black market. Just kidding. One thing is for sure: our Alumni always enjoy coming back to raise a toast together.
