Startups at WERK1
Digital startups can call WERK1 their home for up to four years, benefiting from customized services and support at every stage of their journey. Whether they’re bootstrapping, launching their product or service, or scaling up – WERK1 flexibly adapts its services to meet the individual needs of the founding teams. In addition to provide suitable office spaces, we offer comprehensive support through mentoring, coaching programs, and access to a unique network. This allows startups to fully focus on their growth while we provide optimal guidance for each development phase.
Our Alumni – a strong connection
In addition to active startups, our alumni are a key part of the WERK1 community. Prominent former startups like Scalable Capital, Deepeye Medical, Tacto or Capmo laid their foundations here and have since established successfully themselves in the market. We maintain close ties with our alumni, as they play an important role in our network: they share their experiences, inspire current startups, and strengthen the community. Together, we create a platform for mutual support and sustainable success.

Network and Knowledge transfer
The move-out of a startup doesn’t necessarily mean saying goodbye forever. We stay in close contact afterwards and offer our support. Six months after they moved out, we visit our alumni to find out how they’re doing, how they’ve evolved, and the progress they’ve achieved. At the same time, we’re always delighted to welcome visits from former teams at WERK1.
Our alumni also play a key role in our network. We are committed to ensuring that their knowledge and accumulated experience remain accessible even after they moved out. To this end, we’ve launched the Founder Mentoring Programm: a coaching initiative connecting alumni with active startups. Younger teams benefit from this exchange of experience, gaining valuable advice and tips from former startups, which helps them tackle their own challenges more effectively.
