Cartken is solving the grocery last-mile delivery problem for suburban markets. 67% of the population (US and Europe) live in suburban neighborhoods which can’t get economical same-day grocery delivery. We are lowering delivery costs to these neighborhoods by using automation and logistics. We think that now has just become the right time to enter this complex market – and we think we have the right team to tackle the problem.
Our team was working on this problem at Google before leaving recently to start Cartken. At Google, we were working on Google Shopping Express, and Area 120’s Sidewalker project (which launched Book Bot).
